One of Europe’s largest food producers relies on efficient anaerobic wastewater treatment and state-of-the-art biogas utilization in its sugar production. To further increase energy efficiency and ensure optimal biogas use, a high-performance gas upgrading system from FlexBio was installed at the site.
The system is designed for a biogas throughput of up to 500 m³/h and includes a gravel bed pre-filter, a gas refrigeration dryer with heat recovery, an activated carbon filter, a gas compressor station, and comprehensive measuring, control, and automation technology. This ensures that the biogas is reliably purified and made available for safe, flexible, and efficient utilization.
