Gas Dehydration

Gas Cooling for Dehumidification of Biogas, Digester Gas, and Landfill Gas — Efficient Gas Drying

Our gas cooler optimally prepares biogas for further use through targeted cooling. In this process, moisture is removed from the gas to prevent corrosion in subsequent systems and increase efficiency. The compact, modular design on a frame structure enables easy integration and flexible expansion.

The use of robust stainless steel components, an air-cooled cold water replacement system, and an integrated condensate separator ensure maximum operational safety with minimal maintenance requirements. The plant is designed for outdoor use and is already fully pre-assembled and filled at the factory — Plug & Play included.

Optionally, it is available with cold protection insulation, auxiliary heating, and condensate level monitoring.

Biological Desulfurization of Biogas

Biogas Desulfurization — Safe, Efficient, and Chemical-Free

Our biological-chemical filtration system reliably removes even high hydrogen sulfide concentrations (up to 100,000 ppm) from moist and warm biogas — without any chemicals or substances hazardous to water. The gas flows through an insulated filter vessel containing special oxygen granules that selectively bind sulfur and convert it into harmless solid substances.

The system operates effectively even under fluctuations in load and temperature and does not require additional gas drying. Thanks to pre-assembled technology, it is immediately ready for use and easy to install. It is optimally suited for outdoor installation and does not require an Ex-zone.

Optionally, it can be equipped with fresh air supply, gas measurement technology, and further functions — for maximum process safety.

Hinweis: The loading capacity of activated carbon can be assumed to be up to 0.5 kg of sulfur per 1 kg of activated carbon. The concentration of H₂S is specified in ppm (parts per million; equivalent to ml/m³). To convert to mg/m³, the factor 1.4 can be used. For example, 1,000 ppm H₂S corresponds to 1,400 mg/m³ H₂S or 1,326 mg/m³ sulfur (S).

Activated Carbon Filter for Biogas Purification

Reliable Fine Desulfurization for Clean Biogas

Our activated carbon filtration system reliably removes hydrogen sulfide from biogas down to 0 ppm — ensuring safe and uninterrupted operation of your biogas plant. Thanks to integrated gas preheating and insulated filter vessels, the efficiency of sulfur binding is significantly increased while preventing condensate formation.

The robust technology allows flexible operation of the filter units in alternating, parallel, or series configurations — depending on requirements. The proven activated carbon process operates without chemicals and requires minimal maintenance. The filtration system is immediately operational and suitable for demanding applications with fluctuating sulfur loads.

Optionally, the oxygen supply can be regulated to ensure optimal desulfurization performance.
