Halsbacher Qualitätsfleisch GmbH stands for quality, regionality, and sustainability. To treat its wastewater efficiently while harnessing energy potential, the company implemented a comprehensive FlexBio solution.
The installation includes a combined anaerobic–aerobic wastewater treatment system with an integrated MBR housed in a 40-foot container, along with a drum screen in a 10-foot container for pre-treatment. The system reliably purifies the wastewater, produces biogas for the company’s on-site biogas plant, and allows the reuse of the treated water for field irrigation.
A particular highlight is the flexible financing model: the system was initially leased and then transferred to company ownership after three years. In this way, Halsbacher Qualitätsfleisch GmbH combines environmental responsibility with clear economic benefits.
